Peter Teresi is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to founding Certificial, Peter served as the CEO of ACORD Solutions Group (ASG). In this role, he shaped the overall strategy of ASG and oversaw the design of new solutions to operationalize ACORD Standards and enable a digital marketplace. During his nearly 20 years with ACORD, he held several other positions including Senior Vice President of Solutions, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President of Standards and Technology. Peter's entire career has been dedicated to bringing innovative technology to the insurance industry.
Rob Blanchette is the Co-Founder. Prior to founding Certificial, Rob worked with Deloitte Consulting in their Technology Strategy practice and also Liberty Mutual Insurance where he lead transformational IT projects focused on process improvement and business intelligence. Rob is a serial entrepreneur. He started a data and analytics consulting firm in 2013, which was acquired by BlueLine Associates in 2015. As Partner at BlueLine Associates, Rob oversaw all aspects of the firm until its acquisition by ThreeBridge Solutions in 2019.
Jessica Lepore is the VP of Insurance Solutions at Certificial, where she is responsible for Insurance Agency support and operations. Before joining Certificial, Jessica was the founder of Surevested, an AI-powered digital life insurance distribution platform. Jessica's contributions have been recognized by notable publications including Yahoo Finance and NerdWallet. With over 7 years as a Principal in a Property & Casualty insurance agency, she successfully led initiatives in sales, marketing, and client retention.
Richard Magrann-Wells is the Chief Regulatory & Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Certificial, Richard was an Executive Vice President at Willis Towers Watson and led the broker’s U.S. Financial Institutions Practice. Richard is a lawyer with an LLM in Financial Regulation and an MBA in Finance. An accomplished banker before turning to insurance, he managed foreign exchange and emerging markets teams for Citi, Wells Fargo and Merrill Lynch.
Patrick Mulroy is the VP of Agency Development, and is responsible for the end-to-end Insurance Agency and Broker experience. Prior to joining Certificial, Pat has spent 12+ years in the Insurance and InsurTech industries. Most recently at Applied Systems via the acquisition of Tarmika, where he was the Head of Agency Sales and Distribution. Patrick spent 4 years at Veruna, an Agency Management System where he was the 4th employee. Prior to his roles within InsurTech, Patrick started his career as a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer with HUB International and Gallagher.
Kelly Myers is the Manager of People Operations. She has worked in Human Resources since 2015 with her most recent role being at JSX, a Hop-On jet service where you can enjoy the convenience of private travel at not-so-private fares. Kelly leads with a “people first” mentality and loves helping Certizens reach their fullest potential. She’s challenged with building a culture for our 100% remote company and does this by developing lots of unique avenues for employees to connect, such as Friday afternoon trivia happy hours, company contests, and fun chat rooms.
Austin is the VP of Sales and Customer Success at Certificial. Before joining Certificial, Austin built and scaled the customer-facing org with Lendflow. Austin is an experienced tech executive focusing on B2B products, having served as COO, GM, and SVP across multiple businesses. Additionally, Austin has led four organizations through hyper-growth and successful exits, including two that he founded. Austin currently serves in the Newchip Accelerator as a board member and advisor.
Ron Shroyer is the VP of Insurance Partnerships, and is responsible for Certificial partnership ecosystem within the insurance industry. Prior to joining Certificial, Ron has spent nearly 10 years in the InsurTech industry, where he led the Revenue organization within Aureus Analytics, and was a Sales Leader at RiskMatch throughout their acquisition by Vertafore. Prior to Ron’s roles within InsurTech, he was in revenue-generating roles for various Financial Services organizations, such as HSBC, ADP, Thomson Reuters, and Wolters Kluwer.
Mohan Vijayagopal is the VP of Engineering, and is responsible for building and scaling the Certificial platform and Smart COI Partner Network. Prior to joining Certificial, Mohan was the CIO of Sunlife Financial where was accountable for the overall strategy, planning and execution of the information technology function. Mohan also spent 15 years at AIG in various technical leadership roles.
